What's the difference between Pok茅mon Diamond and Pok茅mon Pearl?

I know it can look obvious, but I need to know. I wanted to buy a Pok茅mon game for my Dsi, than I found out there are 2 games sold separetely: Diamond %26amp; Pearl. I made a research to find out which is better, but I noted they mention "Pok茅mon Diamond %26amp; Pearl", never mentioning them separetely. In sites of games, they mention them together. But if there are 2 different games, why would them be identicals? I didn't read anything like "the different between the versions". Then, can you guys tell me? What's the difference? Which is better?|||they have a few (note: few) different pokemon, including the star legendary which is the one you see on the cover.





however, most would recommend you get pokemon platinum. its the slight differences in those versions combined plus with an extra world which is kind of cool.|||The difference is that the Legendary Pokemon you get. In Diamond, you get Dialga. In Pearl, you get Palkia. Also, a few of the Pokemon you find in the games are different, you'll find some of the Pokemon in one game and not the other.





You should probably get Platinum, it has all the Pokemon from both games and even some from other games.|||the difference is in diamond you get dialgia and in pearl you get palkia also in pearl theres mime jr in the wild and in diamond theres bonsly in the wild those 2 pokemon are only difference i like platinum better than both of them platinum is the same thing as diamond and pearl except slighty different better storyline on wi-fi connection there are minigames you can play with people over the world without friend codes and there are more pokemon|||well diamond has pokemon that you cant find in pearl, and pearl has pokemon that you cant find in diamond. i have diamond, but ive never played pearl. there is not much difference between theme. diamond has dialga. and pearl has palkia. i think you should get diamond.
