How do you import pokemon from Diamond to Platinum?

I am planning to get my skarmory from diamond to platinum but i dont know how.|||You need 2 ds's and insert a platinum catridge in one ds and diamond catridge in the other ds and share the add exchange friend codes with both the Ds's and then go to the Wi-Fi room and trade the skarmory.|||you cant import you can only trade sry|||trade with a friend then have the friend trade you the skarmory|||Sorry you can't transfer diamond or pearl pokemon to platinum. The only way you can get pokemon from diamond and pearl onto platinum is if you trade. If you have 2 nintendo ds systems you could trade by yourself.|||You connect to Wifi, go to the GTS in Jubilife and put in your location on the map, put up a worthless pokemon like a starly and ask for the pokemon you want to trade. Get on Platinum and put in all the specific requirements, and finish your trade. Do not put up the pokemon you want to trade for another pokemon, I did that and lost a Piplup, Blissey, and a Lopunny|||youll need to DSs to do that so find a friend who has one and ask very nicely if you can borrow theirs for a bit. :)|||just trade the pokemon like your trading from Platinum to Platinum it works the same that's how evolved my kadbra if you don't want to trade something important trade junk like bidoff or a starly
