How much does it cost to have a diamond reset?

My mom's diamond on her wedding ring fell out of its setting and i would like to have it reset as her anniversary present. Does anyone know how much it would cost to put it back in its setting?|||It really depends, but I would check with a local jeweler. General setting costs can run you from $75.00 to $200.00. Make sure that your diamond is insured before you have it reset. The jeweler is not liable to take responsibility for the diamond in case they chip the diamond during the setting process 鈥?Here is a link to Jeweler鈥檚 Mutual who specializes in insuring only precious gems, diamonds and jewelry http://www.whiteflash.com/info/insurance鈥?/a>

Good Luck!|||It won't cost you too much, around $ 50. the jeweler will reset it by putting the stone under the claws of the setting or something like this. This could be done within 1 hours.|||Most likely less than $100:) Same thing happened with my mom's and Mucklows is only charging her like $40 for reseting it:) resetting|||great, I suggestion you to visit shop, you can see it in person.

good luck!
