Where can I find the cheapest diamond engagement rings that are still good quality?

Where can I find the cheapest diamond engagement rings that are still good quality?|||First do some research on diamonds. Go to stores that sell the really expensive stuff and take a good hard look at all of them. Decide what cut you're looking for (princess is very popular, but I like the way the brilliant cut looks better), decide what carat you're looking for. The most affordable rings are going to be around the 1/3 carat (for a single stone). Decide what band material you want. Yellow gold and White Gold are generally the cheapest you get. Decide what mount you want. The cathedral mount is very traditional, but there are some funkier ones that might better fit your style. Now, be willing to compromise a little. You're looking for affordability, so you need to be willing to negotiate.

Go to a diamond resale store, most larger towns have a few. Take a look at a few different rings and ask what they have to offer. Never let on that any ring is perfect (even if it is). They are going to start high when it comes to price, you're going to start low. In the end you meet in the middle.

Now here's the biggest piece of advice I can give! If you do well, you can get a fantastic ring around a third of the price of a new ring, but it won't be new. It will look new (or at least it should), and you're going to be very proud of yourself for getting such a great deal. Under no circumstances should you EVER tell anyone what you paid. And NEVER NEVER NEVER tell your fiancee what you paid, or that it was once worn before. Keep in mind, diamonds are millions of years old, there are no new diamonds, same goes for gold (except gold is much much older). Paying for a brand new piece of jewelry is for the filthy rich and the gullible.

I can't tell you what I paid for the risk that my wife might one day find this, but it was a ring I never could have afforded otherwise. You might have to go to a few different shops, but make sure they specialize in jewelry. Don't go to a pawn shop!|||There really is no cheap diamonds...this is going to sound crazy, but the meijers by my house is having a diamond sale, and all their diamonds are 80% off...so thats a good deal, the only thing is the diamond is so small you cant even see it. But JCPenney also has pretty cheap diamonds, cheaper then I have seen anywhere else...But for engagement rings, I told my boyfriend I want a moissanite ring, It looks exactly like a diamond and has the strength of a diamond but shines a little more, for A LOT cheaper. Its a new stone, that was found in a meteorite. try Moissaniteco.com to look at rings. Also do some research on it. And if you want to see it in person, JCPenney and Kohls sells it.|||You're not going to. You could get something from Kmart or somewhere equivalent. But Quality (Good) jewelery is expensive.

I have one diamond ring and it cost me $1400. It is 14K white gold and 3/4 Carat total weight.

Stop blowing this category up with the same stupid question just a different story.
