What is the most important factor when buying a Diamond cut or clarity?

What is the most important factor when buying a Diamond cut or clarity?


I picked out Emerald 3.28 The color is H. The clarity is sI2. The price of diamond is 28,000


Im so confused with picking out the right diamond.


Any info is appreciated.

8|||If the diamond is eye-clean then cut is more important. With an emerald cut I do not believe an SI2 will be eye-clean. With an emerald cut you usually need a VS2 to get an eye-clean stone. It is easier to see inclusions in an emerald cut than any of the brilliant cut diamonds. As you probably know going up to VS2 will cost you more money, but you will have a much more beautiful diamond.
