I have heard that some of the leading brands sell the diamond ring at much much higher rate then what they are worth. I do not want to go for cheap diamond ring but want to make sure I get the worth what I pay.|||Turn online. Try bluenile.com and whiteflash.com|||Buying a ring starts with buying a diamond. It really depends on how or where you decide to buy a diamond. Here are some good rules of thumb you may find helpful. Buying a certified diamond is definitely important in terms of authentication of your diamond - http://www.whiteflash.com/about-diamonds鈥?/a> Buying settings depends on Solitaire 鈥?without diamonds or diamond engagement ring with diamonds 鈥?hope this link will help you on the settings as well.
Good Luck!|||When it comes to jewellery sales a few things affect price.
1. Are they a special 'name brand' (eg. Tiffany and co)
2. Are a big chain?
a) are they the 'more expensive type chain', or a 'cheaper type chain' (Like Walmart)
3. What types of costs are they incurring just by being open (Think rent for a store in Hollywood vs a small town)
Im sure there are more, but these are off the top of my head.
When a store sells you a ring, or necklace, they need to make sure the price covers their cost to buy it, then their costs to have a location for you to buy it, advertising to make you come in... etc... Then certain stores get the luxury of raising the price some more because they are 'special' (again think Tiffany's).
Is a 1 carat diamond of H SI1 quality from Tiffany and co. any better than a 1 carat H SI1 diamond from your local jeweller?
Absolutely NOT!
The quality of the gold, the quality of the gem/diamond is the same not matter which brand it is under.
The price of jewellery at store is inflated for profit, and profit alone.
Now that I've said all of this, i would like to offer our services...

@RocksDiamondDeals|||My partner is getting my ring custom made from a local boutique jeweller. She buys her diamonds direct then makes the ring, so she is substancially cheaper than any store we have seen!
In fact we are getting a ring for $5000 with a very intricate band, that we have seen in stores for $10 000 with a plain band. I reckon if this ring was in stores it would retail for $10,000-$15,000 depending on the store.
So, go to a local jeweller, see what they can do for you :)|||Check out this site, they have a bunch.|||Pawn shops.
